Holiday Cheer

Holiday cheer was in abundance at the recent Albion Food Distribution due in part to special items included with the food boxes. Thyra Landis of Folk Oil and Deja Coney manager of the newly remodeled Homer PS Kitchens, display gift cards donated by Folk Oil Company, United Methodist Church, Albion-Homer United Way, and the PACE service group from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  Other special items included homemade cookies from the United Methodist Church volunteer bakers and Albion College food service.  Oaklawn Hospital provided hams to add to a festive holiday dinner.   Volunteers make each of the food distributions possible to help residents cope with food needs.
