Albion-Homer United Way Thanks Calhoun County Employees

Albion-Homer United Way congratulated Calhoun County employees for their outstanding contributions to the organization. County employees were generous in their giving to AHUW and were recognized by Marcia Starkey, executive director and AHUW board member Gary Tompkins at a recent Calhoun County Commissioners meeting. Starkey (left) and Tompkins (right) thanked Helen Guzzo (center) director of Senior Services for Calhoun County and head of the employee fund drive. AHUW continues to raise money to improve the lives of Albion and Homer residents through grants to local agencies. Employee donations through checks or payroll deductions are joined by corporate and business gifts as the heart of giving to sustain AHUW. Fundraising continues throughout the year to support local agencies to apply for project funding.
